SERDC Mission Statement

It is the mission of the corporation to unite industry, government and non-government organizations to promote sustainable recycling in the Southeast.

Structure of SERDC

SERDC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

The SERDC Board of Directors shall consist of 17 individuals. Board members shall be selected with strong geographic representation of the eleven member states in mind, but the primary criteria shall be interest in the SERDC Mission and a commitment to engage fully in the activities of the organization.

Purpose of SERDC

To increase collection and recovery of quality recyclable materials.
To foster economic development via the recycling industry.
To create a greater awareness of the recycling industry's impact in the Southeast.
To foster communications among all stakeholder groups.
To engage in any and all activities to support the mission of SERDC.
