Manufacturers in the Southeast consume more recovered material than the region’s local governments capture. The recycling offices in the states’ environmental offices support the local programs and provide leadership for program improvement. This session features the state agency leaders for recycling programs. They will share their efforts to improve material management, featuring successes and occasional struggles.

Please make sure you are on the list to be transported from the hotel to the tour site and back if needed.

10:00 am- 1:00 pm:  Tour of Pratt Recycling MRF- Conyers, GA
Visit the state-of-the-art Materials Recovery Facility and learn more about the campus where Pratt Industries utilizes a closed loop process, including an onsite gasification plant, paper mill, and the box manufacturing plant. Safety equipment will be provided and no open toed shoes permitted.  Casual attire is recommended.  Lunch will be provided
