Quality of material has never been more important. The Recycling Partnership, in partnership with Keep America Beautiful, and the Southeast Recycling Development Council (SERDC) will facilitate an energetic and creative workshop that will engage the audience and present proven best management practices and operational protocols that have been proven to decrease contamination and increase the capture of recyclables. Participants will learn tactics and practical strategies for operations and outreach to take on the challenge of contamination.
During this workshop, The Recycling Partnership will lead an exercises that work through best management practices for resident engagement and behavior change as well as stakeholder collaboration. Recycling is a loosely connected, highly dependent system and exercises will work through how MRFs, communities and haulers can work together on the shared goal of a cleaner residential recycling stream.
There is no cost to attend the event.
